Abstract

Software quality assurance (SQA) plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and correctness of software systems. This research paper provides a comprehensive overview of various SQA techniques and frameworks used in the industry. We start by defining SQA and its importance in the software development lifecycle. We then discuss different SQA techniques such as static testing, dynamic testing, and formal verification, along with their strengths and limitations. Next, we explore popular SQA frameworks like ISO/IEC 25000 (SQuaRE), CMMI, and Six Sigma, highlighting their key features and benefits. Additionally, we examine emerging trends and technologies in SQA, including AI-driven testing and DevOps practices. Finally, we conclude with a discussion on the future of SQA and the challenges ahead. This paper aims to provide software developers, testers, and project managers with a comprehensive understanding of SQA techniques and frameworks to improve the quality of their software products.
