Quantum-enhanced sensing has emerged as a promising field offering precision measurements beyond classical limits. This paper reviews the state-of-the-art techniques and their applications in metrology and geophysics. We explore the underlying principles of quantum sensing, including quantum metrology, entanglement-enhanced sensing, and squeezed states. We also discuss the challenges and future prospects of quantum-enhanced sensing technologies.
